Hi there!

I’m Rogerio Sales (please call me Roger) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

My first contact with music was in the Baptist church with my family. There I learned to play the acoustic guitar, and I haven’t stopped playing since.

I started to work as a musician seventeen years ago and then I’ve worked with some artists and bands, produced and record a few albums. In 2007 I started to work in the ships industry, start touring outside brazil. It was a great opportunity to develop myself and grow as a professional. On the ship I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of shows in Broadway, Disney, Cirque du Soleil, Brazilian and Latin styles.

I’ve been M.D. on that gig for five years [good times!].

Back to Brazil I start to get record sessions, compose for Ads, play in cover bands, and tour with Brazilian pop artists such as Wanessa Camargo, Ângelo Máximo, Maísa, etc. I also had the pleasure to perform for musicals like “The Lion King” and “Sister Act”. In addition, I had the opportunity to run “Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat” as a conductor and M.D. at Memorial Baptist Church in Sao Paulo in 2014.

A feel years ago a big cruise ship company contacted to work for them. There I’ve performed with almost two hundred guest entertainers, such as The Platters, Greg London, James Stephens III, Las Vegas Tenors, Juliette Primrose, Analiza Ching, Ben Mills, Tommy Warren, Deborah Cox, and Jennifer Holiday. I’ve played some production shows such as “Now and Forever” and “All Access”.

In some point of this journey I’ve been invited to join “Mamma Mia!” (one of the tours), I got the gig and since then that’s my main job. Besides that I’m still producing singles, and albums with some artists. Last February I released my first EP called “SoliDeo” whereupon I revisit the classic worship repertoir.
